Cookie policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

EntityGap does not use profiling, advertising or analytics cookies, and does not use similar tracking technologies. For this reason, in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines on cookies (10 June 2021), no consent banner is shown.

What we store in your browser

The site uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) only for functions you request, with no tracking:

  • eg-lang: the language you chose.
  • eg-expert: simple or expert view.
  • eg-wd: a cache of Wikidata lookups, to make analyses faster.
  • eg-key: your Google API key, only if you tick “Remember on this device”.

These data stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings (site data for entitygap.com).

Cookies set by third parties

Our network and security provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary technical cookies to protect the site from automated traffic. Links to other sites (LinkedIn, saraborghi.com, Buy Me a Coffee) set no cookies on EntityGap: those sites apply their own policies only if you visit them.

If we add analytics or other non-technical tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
